Tim Gray Media was started in 2005, with the Emmy Award winning D-Day+62 Years: Rhode Island Veterans Return to Normandy as our first effort. The film won 2 Boston/New England Emmy’s (writing and photography) and aired on over 145 PBS affiliates around the country through the American Public Television network (APT). In fact, those same stations, from Hawaii to Maine, usually re-broadcast the documentary every Memorial or Veteran’s Day (under the new title: D-Day: The Price of Freedom).
D-Day: The Price of Freedom led to our second film, Navy Heroes of Normandy, which chronicles the building and dedication of the first monument in Normandy to the role played by the United States Navy on D-Day. That film debuts in France (with French subtitles) on June 4, 5 and 6 at the Utah Beach Museum. NHN made its official domestic debut at the National World War II Museum in New Orleans in December of 2008.
In 2010, TGM also produced a film titled World War II: Saving the Reality, narrated by Hollywood icon Dan Aykroyd.
Since 2011, TGM, working in partnership with the non-profit World War II Foundation, has produced eight additional documentary films (a total of 11 to date).
In addition to our documentary work, TGM also offers a full-service video production element; everything from corporate training videos to commercials.
