FYI

Tim Gray Media has spent considerable time filming in Normandy, France and in Europe over the past four years. The result is two films chronicling the role of American soldiers on D-Day and many other projects now moving forward, including the South Pacific and Guadalcanal in 2010. We hope the music video you are about to click on gives you a feel for some of our activities in Normandy and Europe. But remember, war does not have a musical soundtrack. World War II was a bloody conflict that claimed anywhere from 50 to 70 million lives, that’s 3% of the world’s population from 1939-1945.

Spending time with friends in Nehou, France. Nehou is where American General George S. Patton, Jr. took over 3rd Army and began his successful breakout from Normandy in 1944, that eventually ended in Germany in 1945. On the left is General Patton’s granddaughter Helen, with a 29th Infantry veteran.

D-Day 65th anniversary in Normandy, France in June of 2009. May be the last time WWII veterans gather in such numbers in Normandy as almost 1,000 a day are now passing on. A memorable trip as we debuted our new Navy Heroes of Normandy film, with French subtitles, at the Utah Beach Museum and in Ste.-Mere-Eglise.

France and Luxembourg in November-December of 2009 for the American St. Nicholas ceremony in Wiltz, Luxembourg. Wiltz was hit hard in the Battle of the Bulge. Made some great friends on this adventure of a lifetime!
